The Provision of independent psychiatric opinions for the purpose of Mental Health Review Tribunals.

Capacity assessments

I regularly provide capacity assessments including those for Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPA), Wills, Probate and Court of Protection.

Personal Injuries

The preparation of expert reports in relation to psychiatric sequelae following injuries (including road traffic accidents, work-related injuries).

Location

I accept instructions for clients based in Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Yorkshire and the West Midlands.

I can see clients at Consulting rooms in Manchester, Liverpool and West Yorkshire.

I am also able to accommodate assessments at the offices of client’s legal representatives.

I also undertake assessments in prisons for clients detained in custody.

Fees

I work within the rates approved by the Legal Services Commission.

Time-scales

Psychiatric reports are ordinarily available within three weeks following acceptance of the instruction.
